 Frontier Pathways travels 103 miles through early routes of Native Americans and settlers, south of the Arkansas River. The landscape is stunning with views of the 100-mile-long Sangre de Cristo Mountains following the route.

 28 miles south - Colorado’s first State park, Lathrop celebrated its 50th anniversary on June 9, 2012. Situated in Walsenburg on Colorado’s southern Front Range, the park offers 1,594 scenic acres to enjoy year round.

32 miles north -  Lake Pueblo State Park offers 10,000 acres of land to enjoy at the edge of Great Plains and Rocky Mountains. The park’s mild climate and elevation, at 4,900 feet, open the park to boating, fishing and hiking year round. At it’s fullest, the lake is 11 miles long with 60 miles of shoreline.
